I don’t understand the obsession with Tilly. She walks that line of childish/annoying to me.

Plus Enterprise did it without messing up the Timeline but saying that they were surviviors of the Borg Sphere that the Enterprise E blew up over Earth during First Contact and Archer and his lot got rid of them. Also as great as the Borg can be I don't see them just sticking with one episode with them and that's it but it would be nice if they did if they were to do them, not just to avoid messing up the timeline but as Voyager proved you can have too much of the Borg.

I think Borg Queen is a bit of a leap, but it's kind of fun to think through the possibilities.
Spock has an established history of being able to sense powerful minds and dropping everything to run off and figure them out - see Star Trek the Motion Picture (TMP) when he gave up Kholinar training at the last moment to seek out V'ger. V'ger, through fan lore and "soft-canon" sources (STO among them) has been closely associated with the Borg. And in this Season of Discovery, we have Spock sensing something (Borg Queen?) and running off to investigate, a response that fits with canon.
If I was sitting in the writers' room looking for threads to weave the ideas of "Spock", "missing", and "Borg" together, the above story logic might work to set the stage. But, as I said at the outset, I'm not really a fan of the Borg Queen conspiracy.
Oh, and Tilly for the win. Relatable, fun, competent but imperfect...all good traits in a compelling character.
