I have enough "stuff" for a t6 fleet warbird, and I was planning on getting a fleet Mogai.
I absolutely love the Valdore type Warbird, and they are probs my fav ship visually in all of Star Trek.
But is the fleet Mogai worth it?

I know this is an old post but I'll go ahead and give my 2 GPLs worth.
Whether the Mogai, or any other ship, the Fleet version in my experience is the exact same ship as the non Fleet version, just better. Stronger hull, stronger shields, one more console slot. If you have the T6 Morrigu and love it, then you will definitely love the Fleet Mogai. It is going to fly the same and perform the same, but soak up more damage before going boom. Disclaimer, the extra console you throw in there can of course affect the flying and performance.
If you have the T6 anything and love it, then you will definitely love the Fleet version.

It's going to be fragile, but the layout is solid. Rom birds tend to be fragile anyway.
Ens Sci means your LCdr Uni is probably going to be Science, but Grav Well is always neat. It's an Intel spec seat anyway, so you could always slot in those instead.

This is an amazingly underestimated ship.
The weapon layout is not ideal due to it being a 4/4 (4/3 +experimental).
But if you also own the Valdore and Cstore Morrigu, the 2 piece set bonus and the consoles are really compensating for the ship's main problems in the defensive department.
Maneuvering : It's a dumber escort. Somewhat like a Warship, but slighty more traditional. Its size and inertia can make short turns to require good positioning.
Shields/Hull: It's a warbird. You'd rather not get hit all the time, since the ship won't last like its fed/kdf counterparts (arbiter/kurak).
Ship console layout: 5 tac, 2 sci, 4 eng. The layout is an engineering oriented escort. Not much sci/exotic to be boosted here. Unless you want to use a gravity well for support/positioning purposes at the risk of drawing unwanted and unwarranted threat, I'd suggest slotting the universal lt com to engineering.
Boff layout: Sufficient tac slots, great engineering capability, just HE for science. Can be used as a sci oriented warbird, but it's not really optimal.
Suits a solid aux2batt build and a OSS3 with it. That compensates the lack of offensive output expected from a warship class with a warbird ship mastery.
Can mount dc/dhc and can be running also a rapid fire only build.
Personal rating for warbirds: 4/5. One of the best warbirds out there overall. Doesn't beat the t6 dreadnought warbirds, but can hold its own with most of the top tier ships.
