This is confusing me: Make sure to log in between 10:00 AM Eastern on April 20th and 3:00 AM Eastern on May 11th to pick up your “Happy 15th Anniversary” gifts! When you log in you will receive the following if you are at least level two when the Anniversary Event is active:

It does appear so. They have done something like this before - after a long enough time has passed they seem to make expansions available for free. Although you are right that it seems a bit odd they are handing out the collector's editions of the expansions. Heck I bought one already and I don't really mind If it keeps interest in the game up, why not.

It looks like the "collectors edition" items listed will be free for those with vip status like myself regardless of when we log in, and free for those who are not vip as long as they log in during the time period, as far as I've read it at least. I've played through the Minas Morgul expansion when it was free in 2020 so the content I still have yet to do (Gundabad) likely remains full price.

I've only got the Mordor Collectors Edition - so very happy to be getting the other two on the list! I lost my LoTRO mojo a few months ago - but I always log in for the Anniversary event. Keep an eye on the events page for semi-regular LoTRO events going forward. I've gone back to shift working so they won't be on the same day every week.

Ps. There is still the 'ultimate fan bundle' of the expansions that will remain exclusive to those who purchased them... I would assume that won't change.

Hah yeah, and as VIP its even more ("VIPs: The rewards you will receive for logging in during the Anniversary Event are in addition to the rewards every player will receive. Yes, you will get double of some things!")... I better go clear out some inventory or start yet another storage alt...

I woke up this afternoon thinking I would spend an hour or so before my next shift completing some anniversary content but it appears that they broke Rune-keeper satchels with the update. Looking at their Twitter feed, it looks like the game worlds have been down for 19 hours! *Sighs* a couple of hours of dynasty building in CK3 beckons I suppose.

Yeah... I logged in just after the update but a few minutes in, there was a 30 second warning about server going down. Bad day for the devs and community guy.

Still offline, but I'm keeping an eye on the official forums and Twitter. Lots of whinging and whining going on which makes for an amusing, albeit slightly aggravating, read. I would hate to be Cordovan today!

So the latest patch caused RKs satchels to disappear from their inventory - that's pretty major for those of us whose main alt is an RK! Doesn't sound like it's an easy fix either.

Exactly what I was thinking! Although to be fair, I wouldn't want to have his job even on the best of days... way too many whiners and entitled idiots on the forums and social media in general...

I clicked 'Repair' on my installation yesterday, because I tried to play in between them bringing the worlds down, and the announcement on Twitter... Now I have a 30GB download and their launcher is s l o w.

I've made a few alterations to the external layout at the kinship house; this was as far as I got before the hit-and-miss disappearing housing decorations bug got too annoying.

There's a Far-Ranging Stablemaster on the right at the top of the slope just above where you first appear; very useful for the non-hunter/warden characters on your roster.

Don't forget that there's a fully equipped crafting area, including a supplier, in the yard too.
