I think I actually prefer the 25thC version of the ship, it just looks a bit meaner. I’d like to see what the canon model looks like with the type 7 Hull texture.

I tweeted: Someone in my Fleet said they were spray-painted neon highlighters.

And the reply from Michael Okuda:

Yes. They were Stabilo markers that I "borrowed" from Rick Sternbach's desk. One of our producers had commented that the ship was too similar to the Enterprise, so I added the markers to change the ship's profile a bit.

I’ve not been this excited for a ship release in such a long time. Know what’s funny? Even when I got my hands on the temporal light cruiser and finally traded out the Odyssey, I didn’t feel the excitement I do about this beast!

Why, if folks didn’t know better, you’d nearly think my name was Scarlett and this was an Excelsior, I’m that hyped.

Got myself a set of PEN dual beam banks last night off the exchange and have a phaser omnibeam craft in progress too. Just please be good when they announce the stats later!

I've basically reached a point in my STO career where I won't bother with any ship unless Bridger says its any good.

Variety is the spice of life! Unless a ship is irredeemably awful, I’ll always give it a shake to see if it’s any fun or not. Besides, it’s appeals to the collector in me to own the Starfleet designs.

The layout of this ship is all across.. it's interesting. It pretty much favors to be built for each profession in one way or another. The trait and console seem meh though.
