The Excelsior class is a good little ship. Just the right size. Large enough to be flexible and mount sufficient fire-power and small enough to do various missions.
I use the Sovereign class.
Which is clearly based on the Excelsior class.
Quite happy to have Excelsior wing men any time.

Nooooooooot the best acting, even for a fan film. Yet, the USS Longshanks is an Excelsior ship sooo in this thread it goes.
About 9 minutes long and it's really ok. It's a better production than I have seen in other parts (even animated) so kudos there.

Side note: the Storming the Spire queue has Excelsiors dropping off infantry to the Spire columns mid-way through the queue. At least at the colum side I was on. Somehow that made sense to me and it was fun to watch the ship fly in and "dock" to transport dudes.
