    Another phaser weapon worth noting (IMO) is the Advanced Inhibiting [Omni/Turret] from T6 Gamma reputation. Given the likelihood that one will be zooming owing to the Trilithium 2pc Set Bonus, no reason to not throw in this one, which gives a -Res debuff to foes it hits that are slower than you. Smile

    Another option is the Alternate Timeline Set which follows the same logic as the Retrofitting set Dark mentioned, there's a cheap console option in the shape of the Proton Charge Launcher which is a nice AOE damage and gives +3 power to your engines, the other is the Broadside Emitter Arrays (found on the Kelvin Timeline Dreadnought) which is the expensive option, providing +3 power to weapons and 19% to your Captain abilities recharge. The timeline set gives +25% to Phaser and Photon damage for the 2 piece bonus.

    Update, I've replaced my old Mk XIV advanced fleet phaser weapons with crafted [Pen] phasers, got them all upgraded as much as I could (1 epic, 3 ultra rare), and slapped all [Dmg] mods on them. I know I'll likely replace at least three of them with the T6 Terran dual heavy cannons, the prolonged engagement cannons, and the T6 Gamma turret, but these will do very well in the meantime.

    To be fair, the DPRM is also a pretty bonkers emergency button itself. Its clicky ups your regen to crazy levels.

    I've never bought it on my Fed chars, because I'm a cheap bastard, but it and the Secondary Shield Projector are both affordable as hell for KDF, just sayin'.

    Huh, so it is. All my characters that I'd be willing to spend resources on are Fed or Rom, so I never noticed.

    Now why would I want the DPE when I already have the SSP? Tongue Out

    Literally the only thing I can really improve in terms of equipment is switch to cannons, and I'm too lazy for cannons.
