With the new Wardec rules, what are the plans going forward, I know that after we got constantly wardec'd last year, I stopped playing because I didn't like being forced to keep my ships in doc.

It's been a year so I don't know what's been going on lately, although I did see that we haven't been wardec'd in a full year.

I would really like to get back into the game and make use of the ships I've spent a lot of time, credits and money procuring.

I stopped playing EVE because I had no one to play with, so it wasn't very exciting anymore. War decs were annoying, but didn't really put me off, and we did have that one corp that was a match for us, so that was fun, when the skill level is evenly balanced.

If we were to get things going again once the new War-Dec rules take effect this December, what is the feasibility of starting a new Corp that is specifically tailored to Shielding KSD's Logisitcs/Mining/Mission Ops from being shut down due to War-Decs?

The New corp would not have a constructed Structure (Which is the Requirement for being able to declare War), and all Funds and Material would be funnelled to KSD as normally minus what's required to run the Child Corp.

No official Alliance would exist that would drag us into any war-decs that KSD could get.

Basically, Business as usual with the added step of having to move things from one corp to another through a purchase order/contract or something similar.

It wouldn't protect us from straight up random griefing, but they would do it at the risk of attracting CONCORD's ire.

Is that even possible or kosher rules-wise?

It would certainly get me playing the game again, as I loved mining and salvaging for you guys, and Three, you would have peeps to play with again.

We have a reformed Kassa corp, I think I am director on one of my alts, can't remember what I called it, but I can invite people to it as needed to start from scratch. None of our corps has a structure anymore.

Well, come December, My Talos, Procurer and Noctis would be at the ready. Hopefully, they don't back down on the Wardec changes.

But all kidding aside... Imho, sandbox games like Eve where you basically live a parallel life and where you can easily permanently lose your assets will always cause some level of drama... and when it comes to relationship with others, unfortunately trust is most expensive commodity in Eve.

My hope is that wardecs nerf will result in a different environment for social, casual, pve and non experienced pvp corporations and while risks won't be completely eliminated, overall, griefing will be drastically reduced. I wish we had these rules when Kassa was at its pinnacle.

Right now i'm in the process of moving my goods to another station in Higher Sec space.

had to reinsure my ships... out almost 200mil isk...

I certainly wont miss the wardecs, though my corp and alliance has plenty of stations.

We should try to have a mining expedition before the Crimson Harvest event ends, I was able to get 10mil ISK from a single run with my Retriever, and that was with reprocessing @ 50%, if we had someone with higher efficiancy reprocess the ore, we could make a boatload of ISK if we stripmine a whole belt.

Reading this, I might give EVE Online a try. I have only played the tutorial part of it.
