I lucked out yesterday and acquired a T6 ship reward pack, planning to pick the Universe Class 26th Century Dreadnought and really need some help creating a build to make the most of this ship.
My main is a Fed Tactical Human, current ship is the Fleet T6 Galaxy Dreadnought, setup for Phaser damage, lots of Turn buffs and hull tanking.
Currently using the 2 piece Bajoran and 2 piece Iconian, I dont have the Bajoran Warp core or DOMINO available though
I have a set of MK15 Phaser Vulnerability Locators already so would prefer to continue using Phasers.
Main boffs are two Superior Rom Ops, two Pirates, one Lukari Protomatter Specialist
Looking for a build to push DPS while not being a glass cannon, any help would be greatly appreciated.
you def want to get the Elite Cestus Frigates .(fleet store on Fleet Starbase). also use the wing commander & rapid deployment trait for the fighters...

Thanks, it certainly makes up for years of bad luck opening crates and getting nothing but junk.
Wing Commander is on my shortlist of traits for it, I might also acquire Scramble Fighters. I use both on my Jem'Hadar character (Vanguard Carrier) with Elite Gunboats and its an absolutely brilliant combo.
Emergency Weapon Cycle
Peak Efficiency
History Will Remember
Structural Integrity Overcharge
I usually wouldn't bother with SIO but using all weapon and engine power (minimal shield, aux) it sort of works.
I'm definitely going to purchase the 5th trait slot asap though not sure what to use as well.
Looking at that build sheet, it suggests Aux2Bat. Thats something I've heard mentioned for years but I've never used. Does the power transfer to Wpn/Shld/Eng have much of an effect on DPS or is it mainly used for cooldown reductions?

It does effect your DPS, but as you already said the most important part is the cooldown reduction. To make it work you will need three Purple Technicans, blue once will do as well for the beginning you can get them by Doffing or the Exchange.

Sorry, I'm sick,so just some quick observations...
1) Reduce Engine Power to 15 and increase AUX Power to 70...your Aux2Batt build has minimal effect with low AUX Power...after Aux2Batt boost, the difference in Engine Power is negligible, and the reduced cooldowns will benefit you greatly.
2) Maybe swap Attack Pattern Delta 1 for Attack Pattern Beta 1...it has a shorter cooldown and will work better with cooldowns of other TAC abilities.
3) I would probably also swap out Timeline Collapse 3 for Recursive Shearing 3, and Causal Reversion 1 for Entropic Redistribution 1. Those are personal preferences, but I believe they will prove more effective for you, if you want to use Temporal Abilities.
4) I would probably also swap Beam Overload 2 for Torpedo Spread 2, just to leave a mess behind you if you manage to get yourself turned around. Beam Overload and Fire at Will share a cooldown, and with 2 Aux2Batt's, you will always be on global cooldown. If you want that option, then keep it, but I think that Torpedo Spread 2 would be more fun and effective.

Just some quick thoughts. I hope that they help!
Cheers!!!
Thanks for your feedback. I've taken a look through your suggestions and made a few changes to my build.
I'm running this ship primarily as a tank with most hull repair happening passively; the SIO trait relies on base engine power for hull repair. I'm using Aux2Bat for CDR rather than a DPS increase.
I didnt realise APB and APD had different cooldowns. Swapped out to APB
Causal Reversion is one of my few active hull repairs so I'd like to keep that for now. Recursive Shearing does looks very good though so I've swapped to that in the Commander slot.
Replaced BO with Torp Spread, not sure how well it works with a Tricobalt base torp but I'm happy to give it a try
