I play Star Trek Online from my Mac. My PC broke so I went looking for a Mac version of the game. There is no official version of STO for the Mac, however, some people have taken the time to make a Mac version of STO. I discovered this process about a month ago and I have been using it ever since. There is a forum post in the STO forums about the Unofficial Mac testing. They need people to test it and i am spreading the word out so that people with Macs can play STO on it.

for additional help, ask me, i've been using the wine alternative and the graphics are way better than what was on my pc

I am also a Mac user, however, I run STO, and all my other non Mac games from my Windows Partition; and it all runs perfectly. This way seems a bit complicated from what i've read. I would, however, try it out if I didn't already have Windows.
Nice find though. 
PS: Glad to see I am not the only Mac user in the fleet!
