Signature Quotes

Afternoon all.

I notice that some people put quotes in their signatures so I wanted to ask whether there would be any demand for a {UFP} template for signatures so that they would fit in with the clan signature and medal box, I have done a mock-up below using the quote from the dedication plaque of the ship from the Endeavour Serial Roleplay.

It looks pretty good Chris, a small suggestion though, you could make it a bit smaller then the medals section.

We've already had and possibly have a few signature compilations already quite verbose... not naming any names

At the moment just trying to see whether there would be any demand for a standard {UFP} quotation template for signatures.

The mock up was simply to demonstrate the type of thing I was referring to it isn't something I am proposing we should adopt I am just keen to see if there is any interest in this type of thing.

Therefore if there was a demand for something like this how it were actually styled would be something we could decide on at a later time.

look great. i am all for this, however, i would like to know if there would be a way to enable the user to change it themselves, seeing as how some of us change our sig quotes quite often...

At the moment I am just trying to identify whether there is a demand for a generic template. In the event there was then I think it would be logical for members to be able to change it themselves rather than it having to be done like a sig request.

I don't want to create extra work for anyone so I think it would make sense for members to be able to do it themselves.

If it were transparent how would you see it?

What bit are you referring to the frame or the background?

I think so.

Having a general template would be cool. If possible it should be changeable by the member itself, otherwise I see one hell of work coming to our graphic artist.

Yeah if we went for something like this I would expect the template to be made more available than the signature templates.

Finished design. Hathaway has helped to resize the frame nicely.

Since it doesn't take long to make these once you have the template will set up a system of doing these similar to how the sigs are done. Will put up a request form or thread hopefully tomorrow.

If anyone wants a shiney quote start thinking now so you can get yours first.

What about a different colour though? Something more in line with the overall theme... more blueish.
