You can keep doing it, like me.
Actually if you complete the 20.000 endeavor points further on, a notice above the chat box appears that you got an additional endeavor point, but is it not shown on the tab as endeavor rank progress and the progress bar remains frozen.

The devs have mentioned that an increase will come, probably to 750 at some point, so the grind isn't over, just rested for the moment. One of them also said recently that the alleged "background" progress for points won't carry over at the next increase, but we'll see what happens.

I'm at 433, so the grind continues. Just need 1 more point to finish all the space perks then it's ground ahoy!

I'm at 221. I took a while off to play Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online until Rock Star decided they were no longer going to offer any new content. Been back here a month or so now and resumed the Endeavor project. I am at 221 so quite a ways to go. Nothing has reached level 20 so far but a few of them are within 3-4. I still have some reroll tokens left over from when I was around before but have yet to use them. I just choose something and go with it. I figure I'll get there eventually.

In the current state of the game we can always expect a player friendly „feature“.

I still do the "easy" ones like do [x-energy-type] damage, or kill Tholians or Borgs or heal shields in space. And the occasional Epic Endeavor, but I'm not going out of my way to grind them out for nothing. I finished a LONG time ago (almost a year ago), and I figured if they were going to bump it to 750 that they would have done it by now.

I'm still kind of peeved that we didn't get a title or SOMEthing for finishing.

750 is the new cap. 5 more points for each existing endeavor for those who haven't looked yet.

Reached 563 yesterday and I thought: Oh wow, not so long anymore to reach cap ... and now this. 750 the new cap
The good thing is I can put my points in more useful perks than Ground Shield Cap and Ground Shield Hardness lol

So if you have Points banked then you need to spend them before they change it and remove them for those at the 600 mark
