Is there anyone in the fleet that has experience using After Effects, either 2018 or 2019 that I could possibly converse with about some issues I'm experiencing in motion tracking? I would be so very grateful.

What I'm trying to do is track this viewscreen so I can replace the star field with a video clip of my own. But, after I set up my spline to track it, it "drifts". Even when I go back and correct it the drift continues. As a result when I try to place my clip in, It drifts as well.

Perhaps the above example while excellent, isn't as helpful since your using a screen replace. So focus more on screen replacement using either Corner Point tracking, or importing the data from Mocha AE.
Note: Single point or corner point tracking will be improved when having a high contrast outline on the screen. Those can be improved refining in other adobe tools, a more rectangular screen with outline of greater contrast, like a fine white outline perhaps outer glow (replace yellow with white) or stroke (1-5 pixels) using path &/or shape tools. But it's also not required.
Simplified Screen Replacement using Corner Pin to 11:22, or a moving screen using Mocha AE.
Advanced Screen Replacement using Corner Pin or Mocha examples
You should get the most out of the first two examples, but the Professor may get additional facets or detail that helpful.

You could also replace the Starfield with a greenscreen, then have the video use that to overlay video, especially if the screen isn't moving.

Here's one you can use for Green Screen and Corner Pin, replace Starfield with a green/blue background, then bring in images or video as required. Yet if the screen isn't moving, just a matter of replacing black with green/blue, then selecting the shade and filling with image/video.
