So this morning I had a terrible Khitomer Vortex run partly my fault as postie and wheelie bin cleaner turned up at the door one wanting paying and other wanting signatures. when i left all was looking well comes back and 2 cubes from my side in the middle map obviously i had gone pop being afk for a few mins and to a team member ranting over probes getting through the gate, normally ignore as normally the runs are good i in but as its KSA and only one person needs to police the probes in a good team i asked the guy if he included himself in his rant. I got caled kid, brah, 12 and some rather select expletive's the numpty even went on to PM me afterwards then blocked me.
In fairness, the run was what it was but I was actually more annoyed at the fact that the numpty had blocked me not allowing me to reply, anyway whats been your worst pug angry ranter.

I can relate to the deadweight cry part as well as to the flaming part.
Always where there can be "block" options and "moderators", the bitch who cries first becomes the aggressor in advantage of the situation. When you remove those... We're all civilized most of the time and learn to settle our differences.
There are some terrible people, even for pugs. Terrible, terrible people.
I think the worst are the people who don't heal, don't run a parse and don't contribute to damage/control state of the npcs or contribute towards objectives.
The days of doom, draanur space TFOs and KSA are space tests for these sad individuals. Add ISA sometimes.
They rarely play ground. The crappy players hate ground, so usually the ground queues tend to be a success.
I must say that calling them "pug garbage" or "trek trash" are two really tempting labels, but at the end of the day it's supposed to be fun and that's that, some of us do it better, the other ones can't read. But we're a community overall and regardless of their handicap, we gotta carry them to get the marks.
I remember back in the days when I knew I was the last contributor from the run, I had the decency of saying "thank you for carrying me". Wasn't much, but it made a difference in attitude.
Staying civil and thinking positive should make the most out this experience. Everyone has to learn in time. Maybe they're just new and think that Gravity Well (just like Trump) is the source of all troubles. Even the fire can be your friend, if you wield it right.
Truth is uncomfortable most of the times. That's why you gotta face it every time.

And everyone understands why
It has been a while that I met one of those people but there was on particular event, I was invited to a 1 vs.1 PvP and that was back than we had the Feedback Pulse Meta and that guy was getting angry since he blow himself up all the time and at one point I left.
He than he told me I was cheating and I blocked him and than another person who knew him was talking to me and I blocked him too and that was the end of that story.

Haha oh dear. To be honest, Im too old these days to let PM's telling me Im useless or im not playing correctly or when my connections suddenly disconnects. I respond to those messages with a quote from Picard all the time, and I either get a "lol" or I get no reply at all.
"It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose. That is not a weakness; that is life"...works all the time. Kind of giggle to myself when I type that in chat too.

"It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose. That is not a weakness; that is life"...
Well I'd certainly not consider it a weakness but a strength, if one commits no mistakes, and still manages to lose - then the test wasn't a fair fight, because the other side likely cheated.
Remind you of something? I guess that's why Kirk got into trouble for playing by their rules. Still I wouldn't recommend that either, but surely we all faced those situations. It's really not a negative reflection on one at all, in fact if you made it challenging, then it only speaks to your resourcefulness. That in fact is the qualities the no-win scenario tests, as it wants to evaluate ones character, and the decision process one takes even when faced with failure.
NOTE: So only hope is being a Mind Reader, or a Diplomat, to avoid a total failure. That requires a Doctor.

My first run in ISA had me go left when everyone went right. I thought, "Well someone needs to cover that side!"
Yeah, the Team chat was raw enough that I research events before I play them.
I also gt tougher internet skin because life is too short to get angry at pixles on a screen or someone I don't see or hear. It's just a game.

I've only ever had two and both in ISA. The run started off normally enough, but then one of the team moved over to the other side before we had fully cleared up. In comes yet more spawns as one of the generators was destroyed, shortly followed by the offender in question.
Headed over to that side to try and pull our backsides out of the fire and subsequently got the blame for blowing the run. Fortunately I was able to convince the others it wasn't my fault and the offending player (who also blamed me) quit out without saying a word.
The second time occurred when a guy in an escort was blown to bits in seconds. He said it was the teams fault for causing the death based purely on the fact we weren't pulling down the guts of 200k DPS each like he was. A bit of a typical class cannon player he was, nothing to save himself with if things went a bit wrong.

I don't have team chat on unless I'm with fleet mates. Never had that happen to me but I have seen other players get chewed out for mistakes, especially in the recent tfo. The number of times I see someone in an escort getting chewed out for staying with the troop transports and not chasing the missiles is considerable.

I have NEVER had the chat on during a TFO. It's not worth it to converse in a PUG. Either we know what we're doing and all will go well, or it all goes sideways and I don't want to hear it. Either way, it'll all be over in 10 minutes.

Chat is important, especially when you need to coordinate or relay certain information, especially in PUG.
The refusal to participate by closing chat, not taking pm, not contributing to the objective completion efforts or ending up with 2k dps are clear signs of one user being eligible for a AFK penalty.
By doing those things, you are basically denying cooperation and participation by sabotaging others' gameplay experience.
Doing poorly, but participating is fine.
Refusing to participate because "fk you guys, I pew pew how I wanna" is a penalty reason because it's trolling or even worse, not trolling...
Truth is uncomfortable most of the times. That's why you gotta face it every time.

I think communication is important, as is trying to interpret what's said correctly; in the context to that which its spoken, or in the best possible interpretation.
Today I saw someone in another forum state, a fact I thought was relevant to this thread. Yet I won't post their original comment, or who made it, but I will include part of my reply. Only because I didn't ask if they would mind.

I’ve had lots of rants aimed at me and nearly all have been because I was using gravity well in a pug and some idiot threw their toys out of the pram because “ur ruining muh deepz!” or some similar bs.
I’ve seen plenty of terrible players in pug runs but I always remember that I started there and even I can have a bad day. Plus, as long as they are trying (following guidance, doing objectives, not afk or doing something to sabotage the run) then I’m happy for them. I’d much rather play with someone who just isn’t very powerful but makes the effort than with an idiot who thinks they are amazing and ruins the run with their arrogance.
