    I think a large part of the player base just want the 'pewpew'

    I rember back in the original release there was something of an exploration elment but that was mostly just random generated missions, it wasn't really fun.

    I'm not saying that they couldn't do something that *was* fun, a more storyline based mission set I'm just wondering if those old-timers like me that are still around would balk at it just rembering the old system.

    They can add as many new ships, reputations, events, weapons, lockboxes, voice actors etc. as they wish but once you get to endgame there is literally nothing to do in the game. They SERIOUSLY need to create some meaningful content for veteran players to enjoy to keep them around or they are just going to have people leaving as fast as the shiny new stuff attract newer players.
    A new player joining now has months of content to enjoy, anyone who has been here longer than a 2-3 year period....well not much to do besides collecting gear or ships to run the same stuff endlessly.

    My hope is for some meaningful endgame, be it actual raid systems, perpetual warzones, exploration systems with a function and progression, fleet vs fleet combat or territory systems, player housing....something to give me purpose and a reason to keep gathering resources.
    I totally agree. New gear is always welcome, but throw something that we can make use of it.
