Not only is Team Red possibly giving Team Blue a run for their money on the CPU side for a change, it looks like Team Green is about to get their knees knocked out from under their top card with AMD's new graphics cards at very competitive price points starting at $449. (The 2070 is $600 and 2060 is $~$350 depending on where you look).

We'll have to wait till the reviews are out to see if it's true. Lets hope that AMD doesn't pull an nVidia and not release review drivers until the release date like they did with the 1660.

In terms of processors I’m really impressed with AMD’s offerings. I’m actually considering having a AMD processor for whenever I go for next rig.
In terms of GPU, Nvidia is not just about the hardware but the software side integration too. Shadow play, Streaming, Ansel Filters, etc.

As Jay said in his video: If you want the pretties, go with nVidia. If you want the power and performance at a reasonable price, go with AMD.

And what of them are you using, I personally use nothing of it.

I used to be an NVIDIA fan... back before when AMD hadn't really put much effort into being competitive. Then I realized that NVIDIA was getting a bit greedy for marginally exceptional performance when compared to AMD. When it got to the point where there MSRP was almost twice that of AMD I started taking a closer look and realized people were paying a 40%+ premium for just the brand name.
I now use an AMD Vega 64 and I've got plenty of power (1000 watts) to push it- I see absolutely no reason to shell out almost a grand for a card that's really only going to give me maybe a 20-30% increase in performance for almost twice what I paid for my Vega. Hell, there's really not enough games out there really pushing that envelope, anyway- and those that do aren't exactly bug free, either. RTX? How many games actually take advantage of Ray-Tracing to begin with compared to the catalogue of games available?
Those who want "bleeding edge" and can afford to pay those premiums without blinking an eye- more power to you. I can play the same games and enjoy myself and still have plenty of money left over for lots more. When I see some more actual value for the money, perhaps I'll take another look at Nvidia again.

Shadow play and Ansel Filters. Ansel is supported in every game I play so far, so yeeee. Ive been using software side integrations that Nvidia offers and like having them now.

I personally don't use any of the extra features nVidia has other than the GeForce Experience to auto-tune the graphics settings on my Gaming Laptop that runs a 1050.
For recording, I use StreamLabs OBS to capture Raw footage as I'm streaming (when I find the time to).
Ansel? Never used it.
As for my next upgrade, I'll be getting an AMD processor again, but that will be some time down the line.
