Short Story Competition!

The {UFP} is inviting all members to enter in the Short Story Competition! This just doesn't have to be Star Trek related, it can be anything you want to write about! This isn't a "write the longest story" competition, so length is not the key thing, but how creative and strong your story is. Writers are limited to one entry and it must meet forum rules and be an original work.

The winner will receive a spot in the next Herald, along with a custom medal.

Is there a word or character limit?

I know one was mentioned previously but the only reference to length is now just:

Which suggests to me there is either no limit or that people shouldn't be looking at longer than about five paragraphs.

Nope, there's no set limit when it comes to the length of your story. However generally, it shouldn't be a like 30 page memoir if you know what mean.

Well since I had to remove all the sex and violence it wasn't half as good a story as it was going to be any way.

Ok so no limit on the length of stories but it is a short story contest so probably shouldn't be too long. Sounds good. Hope to see lots of entries.

Hypothetically speaking if a high ranking officer were to threaten people to vote for a story he were to have submitted?

And what is this? A list of UFPAC recommendations to be approved or rejected. Let me get out ma big red pen and see who doesn't want shiney medals
