Hello all.
I thought I'd sit here with a cup of tea and introduce myself again. Again because well I'm going to be honest, I'm not the same DeWolfie that I was in 2012-2014. I don't think any of us now are who we were then.
My name is De'Wolfie and I'm living in New Zealand.
I was once a pretty active member of UFP and on a thing called the Council which was a panel of sorts. Not sure how much I can talk about it but it was Eight years ago. Unfortunately I started to become less active towards the end of my previous time here because of various life matters. Work and health being primary. Then something unexpected occurred and I lost my Dad. I thought I could handle it, but honestly, it broke me. I dropped offline, off social life. Too much things to list and way too much time wasted trying to get back to normal.
Here is some advice for anyone who goes through this if a loss hits you this hard; normal is Gone. You can try to get it back but its futile and just makes it harder to move on. No, instead what you get is a new normal. A new you. Or maybe that's just how it worked for me alone and this pseudo-exposition isn't worth all that much.
The good news is, no matter what. Things balance.
So anyway, its good to be back. It feels like finally opening an old book at the bookmark where you last left off.
