I was lucky enough to be gifted the Legendary bundle and while I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth. I do however find myself quite a bit dissapointed.
With its now being available on console and some time for the hype on PC to die down. I wonder what you guys think about it.
- Did you get it?
- What do you like about it?
- What do you hate?
1. I got it.
2. I like having all of the Enterprises, its nice to have that feeling of completion. For me that is.
3. None of the ships really shine for me. The T5 consoles are okay and I'm glad they got added but they're not any of the top ones and the new T6 consoles aren't the best either. The final set piece in order to complete the T6 Oddy is the Krenim Timeship. That's such a disappointment, $200-$300 depending on where you live and if you got the discount and you don't even get all the set pieces for each ship.

1) Did I get it - I eventually caved in and purchased it. It was a "am I willing to do this" moment but hey, I enjoy my STO time so I just rationalized it that it would be my only purchases for the year.
...and then I convinced myself with my left over zen to buy another ship because I had enough to do that. So unless something blows me away now, I think I'm good.
2) I was initially displeased with the ship before realizing that it wasn't the ships' fault, but my own. I had been thinking to narrowly with these ships and once I started from scratch and built towards the ships themselves did I really love the box. Each ship is actually wonderful and quite true to the Legendary call back.
There isn't a bad ship in the bunch, I feel. And the extra attention to detail that went into the ships I feel is worth it.
3) I would've liked a Starship trait that was a Command trait. Something like "when you pick a torpedo or command skill (in command's case, random torpedo skill), it applies to each torpedo", since Target That Explosion from the Earhart/Sech basically means that the Command line of ships are supposed to be torpedo based. Though I'm not sure which ship you'd give it to because the other traits are quite good.
I would also say that while it is nice to own the set, having it be only the full amount and nothing but the full amount... Well, saddening because I feel if people could've picked or taken like 3 packs of the set or singular, they probably would've sold more. I do get though that this pack is probably going to be a yearly/special thing that pops up every now and then.

Overall, bit underwhelmed. The account wide unlock is useful for all Fed aligned alts, but my main is going back to a lockbox ship.
A few do stand out as particularly useful though, Pilot Defiant and MW Assault Cruiser are both great.
Some of them come with consoles which are difficult to acquire or expensive. And if you claimed them early enough then you got a Railgun for the experimental slot in one of the ships (the NX i think).
I was thoroughly disappointed in the Galaxy though. Its still a lumbering whale with minimal versatility. If anything deserved a 12th console slot, it was the Legendary Galaxy class.

1.) Did you get it?
Yeap
2.) What do you like about it?
It was a very good pack specially when you got the cheap and discounted pack while there are some obviously good ships in the pack like the Defiant, Sovereign, there are also some less good ships on first look like the Galaxy.
One of the obviously things is that you have to look outside of the traditional ways for example the Galaxy on the first look is a bad ship when it comes to DPS as a conventional Energy Damage ship, but she can excel as a Torp Boat or a Tank.
One of the interesting parts of this pack is that you can start experimenting again.
3.) What do you hate?
That it is Fed only.

1) Did you get it?
I did.
2) What do you like about it?
The Legendary Crossfield, really nice sci torp ship with some versatility. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed playing the Legendary NX too. I gravitate towards Space Magic ships (no pun intended) but haven't really tried out the Voyager more than getting the mastery up to full.
3) What do you hate?
That my reactions can't keep up with the Legendary Defiant enough to make it effective. I have to have it at half throttle just to be able to keep track of where it's facing in relation to the bad guys.

1) Did you get it?
Si, amigo.
2) What do you like about it?
The biggest thing was that they included promo+lockbox ships first time ever for a z-store purchase, even though it was limited time. Other than this, the Legendary Odyssey + New Intrepid are SERIOUSLY amazing ships and tend to get overlooked over the other "Glamour" ships.
I think the issue for me is, too many enterprise class ships. I would've been fine with 2 Connies at max, and maybe one Titan class. They had an opportunity to also slide in something new, but here's me expecting too much, aren't I?
The Galaxy glass is a huge let down and I think entire Cryptic just hates it. None of their revamps towards Galaxy have ever been successful and it always ends up remaining the underpowered child. It didn't get Universal console or Hangar Bay.

1. Yes I did.
2. As a whole, the revamped ship models and textures gave the hero ships a long overdue and badly needed kick of paint. More specifically, the revamp of the Sovereign to a MW and Defiant to a pilot warship made both of these ships a joy to behold, they finally became what they should have always been. The new Kelvin Constitution is also a real eye pleaser. The fact I now never really have to buy another ship again is an added bonus.
3. The pricing. Though I was able to get it to what I considered affordable due to a combination of the sale, bonus and what i already had tucked away in zen, I do think Cryptic got greedy with this one compared to previous bundles.
The higher spec bundle in particular is an overpriced rip off even at the sale pricing and to me is a sign that the price gouging is ramping up and has me in the mindset of them not getting any further money from me. The all or nothing approach was the wrong idea in my eyes and yet again, the Galaxy turns out to be a disappointment and got left behind. It was another chance to see it shine and they didn't take it.

1). Did you get it?
Nope. Way to expensive for a game that has bugger all content to justify such an expensive item.
2). What do you like about it?
The visuals on some are really nice (Sovereign, Defiant, Odyssey, Voyager in particular) so the art team again knocked it out of the park.
3). What do you hate?
Firstly the price used to sell it and the FOMO way Cryptic have sold it.
This sets a slippery slope in place for the way this game has been progressing under the new leadership and I'm concerned that too many people have simply fallen for a group of shiny toys and are ignoring the potential for harm to the game this sort of sales trickery leads to.
Secondly the fact that this game is just turning into little more than a Pokemon knock-off with players just "collecting" items and ships for no reason other than "they exist". There's little decent endgame, there's bugs galore and the game seems to just be rehashing the same tired mechanics every 3 months with yet another rep/box/promo ship. This pack is a perfect example of them creating "content" that it just minor visual changes and a few stat tweaks to existing items. There's nothing to use these ships for other than the bazillionth run of ISE or sitting in Sol looking pretty.

- Did you get it? No - too pricey for me. I can do what I want to do in the game with the ships I already have available, why would I splash out over £150 for ships that I really don't need.
- What do you like about it? The ships I have seen flying about look very nice; I can't comment any further than that.
- What do you hate? Where to begin... The price, the fact that it was only available for an EXTREMELY short amount of time so I didn't have the opportunity to save up for it, but most importantly NO KDF OR ROMULAN SHIPS!

I totally agree with you here. It is way too expensive (for me). But I do like the new Impulse engines of the JJ Kelvin..looks fantastic if you keep the standard Kelvin Connie setting ( I really hate the refitted pylons, nacelles and the neck ) ;D

Yes.
2. What do you like about it?
Firstly I love the Sovereign class since the release of Star Trek Bridge Commander and tabletop roleplaying times with friends onboard our ship the USS Independence before STO ever came out. I was always missing a ST:Nemesis version of the Sovereign ingame with Aztec hull painting. The first time when I've seen footage of the Nemesis version I knew I wouldn't be able to resist this beauty that resonates so much with my history and imagination of Star Trek.
Second I like that the package gives a boost and/or joy for my different characters in STO. Some examples are:
a) I get to fly the Yorktown variant Odyssey class together with the entire T6 flagship console set,
b) my Torpedo boat uses Transcranial Sensor Link starship trait for even more shield penetration,
c) I gave my mothballed temporal recruit the Glenn class and discover new joy in playing an exotic build for the first time since the release of STO.
I'm glad some of the ships also come with dual specialization, something that was only reserved for lockbox/promotion ships so far. I never ever bothered myself with getting such ships.
I'm sure there are some more things that I can get out of the pack (I'm looking at you Defiant!), but this is my fault that I play very casual and don't feel the need to grind anything.
Hate is a strong word. The main thing that I don't like is that although I covered most of the price with my stipend and an excessive amount of dilithium/zen conversion, I had to buy some zen points still. So I support STO with my wallet again since my LTS purchase pre-release. And with it, I support game-breaking stuff like too much lag at times and longterm bugs.

1. Nope
2. Nice visual refreshes on classic ship designs.
3. All-or-nothing megabundling was an immediate dealbreaker for me. Setting aside the eye candy factor, there just weren't any ships that jumped out at me as being any better than ships I already have unlocked, as they have comparable or worse stats than other versions of the same ships and no other gamechangers. Throw in the lack of non-Fed perks and it became an easy one to pass up. If they ever re-release with options to pick individual ships instead of a megabundle I might take another look, but I have no regrets about my decision.
