I may of gotten just a bit too much into 76, i now have 3 characters over 50 and not bored yet! fallout 1st was a godsend, you spend so much time scrounging around for junk to make armor/weapons and ammo, then you have the C.A.M.P to build and i do like to run a small farm at mine for free food, you end up with so much scrap you need somewhere to store it and the basic 800 storage you get is fine to start but as you get more into it you realise it actually sucks big time. the scrapbox from fallout 1st is just fantastic and i would go so far to say a gamechanger. also when you are a fallout 1st member with access to your own private world you can easily trade things between your characters by dropping an item on the floor, relogging to your alt and pick it up.

You wouldn't happen to know if a fulltime power armor build is viable for this game? Took some getting used to the Fusion Core Mechanic from 4 and I do love me some Power Armor.

It is fully viable, yes - while PA doesnt have legendary pieces, it has advantages in other ways over conventional armour. Amongst these are a high damage resist for each piece, the strength bonus and it has good radiation resistances. Normal armour users generally have to resort to a hazmat suit to survive in a nuke zone, PA doesn't.

It can take a little while to harvest up the fusion cores in sizeable numbers, though 3 of the workshops have fusion core processors that produce a core roughly every 7 minutes, so you can empty the hopper every 21 minutes for 3 fully charged cores. You can craft them as well, but you need flux for that and that means venturing into a nuke zone for it and engaging enemies in there for the other materials you need.

I run a heavy weapons build. Just about everyone who does uses PA for it as there's a perk called Stablized which gives armour penetration and accuracy to heavy weapons, but it only works with PA.

All the various types you know from Fallout are there. Raider, T-45 and so on. Top of the PA food chain is T-65, but that's a set to not worry about until you've finished the wastelanders questline.

If you think that's bad, when the game first went live, it only had 400 storage in the stash. As you can imagine, that filled up fast.

It'll all come together in time for sure. As a tip if you're heading down the PA path - when it becomes available, get the batteries included perk. At max rank it reduces the weight of energy weapon ammo by 90%, which includes fusion cores.

It may not sound like it's worth much on the face of it, but cores weigh 3lbs each and suddenly those 300lbs of fusion cores you're carrying about now only weigh 30lbs.

Don't suppose you have a Power Armor build I can work from? I'm still getting used to how the game is set up.

I totally do, i copied mine from this one I've not tried it with any Mutations but the basic build with a .50 Cal Machine gun or the Gatling Plasma (or a minigun) it just shreds anything, Not even the big bad monsters scare me when im in that suit of armor, but Assaultrons genuinely scare me because even with all that armor they can kill you in seconds with their headcannons

I'm still playing Fallout 76 when I can, doing the wastelanders daily to acquire gold bullion. However, I've yet to finish the tadpole (?)_ quests as I never play with anyone else and need to be able to revive an ally. Someday when I have more time I'll get on here and ask if anyone's available to do that

But still having fun! I've got a sniper configuration with a bit of stealth that kills most things other than big enemies in 1 or 2 shots.

The one I use is similar to the one Nova uses, except I've got more points into intelligence to support the power armour usage.

Games pretty fun, pretty much what I wanted Fallout 4 to be, nice not having to build up multiple settlements, I got Fallout 1st just to test it out for a year. I have a Question though, is there a good Spot to set up my C.A.M.P. at? Or is it pretty much place it and build?

My advice is to place your C.A.M.P near a Lead deposit if your going heavy gunner build, your gonna need alot of lead. and the extractor gives you like 14 lead every 30 minutes? roughly, there's a useful map here

Largely personal preference, though there are a few popular hot spots on the map that attract people there for various reasons (water and a resource node within the build area for example) which does mean it can sometimes take a few server hops to get your camp placed, as 2 can't occupy the same space.
