    Can I also point out, this likely means that we've got delayed whatever else they were planning other than the remastered KDF stuff... And even probably that.

    So while it is nice, it also is quite sad.

    I think if the actual real winter event was any indication there should be multiple instances of Tides of Ice, the Krampihri, and the gingerbread one trying to get full marks. A fully successful run on all of those usually gets you quite a few rewards and having nearly all 20 players on an instance help really goes a long way.
    There were several people arranging instances into dedicated farming instances.

    Without buying them? Doing the doff missions on winter wonderland with lots of alts. There are usually also doff missions on your home base (Fed starbase/Klingon first city) as well as the academy. I don't bother running the events, apart from when I just want to have some lighthearted fun.

    To me, this event is also annoying ( like its made for a 4-year-old)

    It was fun the first time I did the events and figured out the weapons and things, but it quickly grew old. For me anyway. I actually prefer Risa, but each to their own.

    It's just too much to grind.
    Casual players don't have 8h/day to spend in-game.
    I remember when winter event got out you could get these ornaments easy by digging through snow piles.
