I am needing to upgrade my monitor.
Currently it is a 2243W AOC, 21 inch that can't go above 1080. I believe. Currently the RTX Card is simulating higher res 3840x2160.
I have been putting it off but now I need to upgrade to a better colour gamut as printing colours are pretty off from what the monitor shows, would also like a monitor with true high res, better than 1080 or FQHD
Anyhow, I have to find a middle ground as I also want to game and don't want terrible contrast with black showing as a dark grey. So I'm concerned about getting IPS because of that and its reported ghosting issues.
I'm looking for a monitor that is 30 inches or above with res higher than HD, FQHD or even higher would be preferable.
Anyone have any suggestions at all?

This is what I've got, the Samsung 27" CJG50 which also has a 32" version. I got mine in a sale last summer after my last monitor (about 10 years old) suddenly started getting noticeable dead pixels, so I only paid £200 for it.
This one is a curved 2K 144Hz monitor and I'd easily rate it as the best one I've ever owned. The colours are excellent, the viewing angle is great and it's a VA panel rather than IPS. I chose not to go for 4K as I didn't fancy running everything at that resolution so it seemed like a waste for me. The only real quibble I have with it is that the stand is fixed rather than adjustable.
