the ship upgrade token is nice, the new episode was great but I will not be doing it every day for an equipment set. the TFO apparently you can just AFK the whole thing for 15-17 minutes and still get credit so as per usual Half-Assed Content from Cryptic

1) Sure. Another trait, console slot, and device slot for basically nothing is always good.
But my take on the Upgrade Tokens is probably a little different. A lot of people are saying, "Upgrade the Fleet version of your C-Store ships" which makes sense. There's no sense upgrading the inferior C-Store T6 if you also have the Fleet version. Unless... There is no Fleet version of the ship. The FED/KDF/ROM Pilot Escorts already come with the 11th console slot from the C-Store. It's part of the tradeoff. Science Pilot Escorts don't have a Secondary Deflector, but they have an extra science console slot. So they're sort of Fleet-adjacent straight from the C-Store.

2) I like the recycling of the strip club and the pole dancers with the Booleans was a nice touch. There's certainly a lot to shoot. I think for leveling new toons it will be nice. It was LONG, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Apparently there's some kind of twist to the story. But I didn't pay attention to the story up to this point so any surprise is completely lost on me. It had lots to shoot at, so that raises the replayability to me. It has a nice rifle with a red blade if you swing it. That's also a big plus. At this point, the Space Barbie is a major selling point. I give it a solid 7/10.
3) Twenty days seems a bit steep, but for an account-wide 4 (or 5 depending on how you count it) piece Event Set? I can live with it. The fact that the TFO is so easy to complete ( 😉 ) makes the grind a simple matter of time management. It's certainly better than the last one; the one with the Elachi Walker. I didn't even get that reward. The fact that the Event Set seems tailor made for Space Wizardry kills the set's usefulness for me, but for a new toon? Sure, why not.
4) I actually like the Mission, the TFO isn't offensive, the Mission rewards seem fairly neat, and the Event Set is decent. What's not to like?
4a) I could, however, do without all the stuff they broke when they loaded it. 😡😠💢

1: I'm not very well clued in on the "meta" for sto, it does concern me that people are just being made more powerful when I've already seen people who can reduce most ships to piles of molten scrap metal in moments, not quite sure why its needed but 'T6-X' sounds cool at least and it gives me a bit more flexible in my very non-optimised build.
Stuck my free one on my T6 Fleet Battlecruiser for a fourth antiproton tac console.
2: It was enjoyable, I've been fairly absent from the game recently so I've got no idea what's going on, but alone it was pretty fun and a bit whacky - see Lightning Targ - nothing that an absurd number of turrets and mines couldn't deal with, though.
3: The event is there, I almost forgot exactly what it was but I'm glad its an account-wide unlock for 20 days of effort. The TFO is easy enough though there's a pathfinding bug that causes allied ships to get stuck under the station that I had to ram free or it would never end. Lore wise I'm always a bit uncomfortable with the whole synthetic rebellion thing, kinda feels off to me after TNG's 'The Measure of a Man'.
4. Other than the servers exploding, it seems alright to me, looking forward to playing more!

Absolutely. Kael said multiple times in our Q&A that T7 was not even on the horizon right now, as it's acknowledged that making people buy another set of ships at a seventh tier might be a bridge too far, especially in the same year that they introduced a "Legendary" series of bundles (with more to come). I like the upgrades as a small head-fake toward improving T6, even if it is a little bit of a power creep. A true T7 would have to introduce upgraded stats, some form of advanced seating, etc. This likely more of a T6.1, since all it's adding is one console, one device slot, and a sixth trait.
So far, I've placed it on my main's main squeeze, the Temporal Light Cruiser [T6], and the Maquis Raider [T6] on my KDF-aligned Rommalon. Seen MAJOR improvements to both ships' damage output, hoping to post better numbers to DPS League soon, once I play with it a bit.
2. What do you think of the new episode?

I did not see that coming, and now I'm even more eager to see the fourth episode come out.

Well, as with all new TFOs (I'm assuming you meant TFO), PUGs feeling their way around can sometimes be a bit of a bother, but overall, I think that we've been pretty overdue for a new "concept" in TFO execution, and I really like how they managed to incorporate some recognizable mechanics to keep things fresh and at the same time navigable. I love longer TFOs, especially for events like this, where the end result is something on the order of a Space set (or T6 ship for those still grinding the coupon). I did a speedrun of the episode versus the TFO, and it shakes out to about the same.
If I can't get a group of proper villains together for the TFO, I'll speedrun the episode instead. It's too early for PUGs to be overall reliable in executing the TFO. That might change later as the event grows some legs culturally.
4. What do you think of this Update over-all?
As I told the devs, I'm incredibly pleased with House Shattered on both Fed and KDF sides. That new rifle/blade is kickass (no pun intended) at Epic, using it through a few rando ground TFOs reminded me a lot of Jayla's electric rifle/staff in terms of damage and effect. Whoever wrote "Partisans" really knocked it out of the park in terms of paying respect to the Trek lore so far and it aligns perfectly within the STO continuity as well.
Though, I would love a Badgey ground combat pet. Just sayin'

I like it a lot. It allowed me to "finish" builds, in the way that I ran out of room for certain items (Traits, Consoles, Devices) and I had to make sacrifices.
I upgraded a lot of my ships. The two ships I am looking forward testing are my Legendary Odyssey and Legendary Galaxy Tanks for the reason how they were built and allow me to have better Team support.
The Legendary Galaxy Tank that is an A2B Build, I am now able to run Cold Hearted together with Controlled Counter Measures and this will result in increase of DPS on the ship but I am also debuffing all the the targets I am hitting and it removes the need of my teammates to run the Cold Hearted Trait so that is a big win for the Team.
On the Odyssey I just added the Promise of Ferocity Trait, that will give me +20% Cat2 Damage Boost it is more of a selfish boost but it should allow me to pull more agro and this is an upgrade I will probably do on most ships since there is nothing better to put on (yet).
I also see a lot of potential on my Science Nebula she might turn out really well she is also using the new Science Set from the new Episode and it looks promising.

It's fantastic, I enjoyed it a lot.

I have not played it.
4. What do you think of this Update over-all?
I know there have been a few problems but I did not have any rubberbanding or other issues and that was a first for a Season launch.

Yes, I particularly like that it is not Zen only. Put it on my Disco Connie. Athough with my mediocre builds I'm not noticing a lot of difference.
2. What do you think of the new episode?
New content! Any new content is great. Always love Martok and Madran is really becoming a fun recurring villain. Don't like the time gated fights though. Then again, without some radical rebalancing or something, I don't see how they could make fights 'feel' remotely challenging otherwise (for anyone who has been playing for a while). Everything dies within moments of me targeting it.
3. Are you happy with the new event?
Assuming you mean the TFO - again, new content, always good. Its interesting, the new mechanics, but overall, it comes across as rather blah. Not entirely sure why - I want to like it. Oh, do like the 'feature' that you can just solo it afk...
4. What do you think of this Update over-all?
New content! That makes it automatically a great update in my book .

I think it is a nice idea to add some new options to a side of the game (the ships) that is frankly getting stale rather quickly; though it's still got issues I feel.
Adding a Uni console, trait and battery slot are nice and will certainly make any ship more powerful straight away. The free token at least lets players try it out and will probably entice more to buy extra tokens.
Speaking of buying tokens the price is actually pretty decent I think and a nice surprise. Considering the T6 ships themselves added essentially the same level of extras to the T5 versions but cost 3000z each, 1000z for that (but lacking a new visual skin, console and trait) is a bargain!
One issue I have with the tokens is that using them on any store bought ship that has a fleet version (e.g. Gagarin, Sutherland etc.) is utterly pointless despite being account wide as you still need to spend another token on the fleet version;; the upgrade does not carry over to the fleet version like you'd think it would. I fear that this will catch a lot of players out as they see the account wide aspect and think it's the best option; when you're actually going to be paying twice once you move to a fleet version.
For the store ships with 11 consoles already and a fleet level like the Vesta's, Oddy's etc. it's a good purchase as they need no other version.
Lockbox and promo ships at least get it account wide even if you do need to buy the ship for each toon; a fair compromise it think.
The only other issue I have is that it's more powercreep that the game really doesn't need. Outside of trying to run Korfez or elite DPS parse runs you really do not need this level of power for any content and it's just going to end up with nerfs or over-buffed enemies somewhere down the road like happened 5 years ago.
2. What do you think of the new episode?
It was something and nothing really.
Nice to visit Nimbus III again, i kinda wish that club was a social zone for all of us without having to fight through missions to get there.
But the mission itself was just more shoot things until timer runs out and not a lot really happened other than that. Oh and look; Jm'pok got away....AGAIN....
3. Are you happy with the new event?
The new event is way too long. 20 daily runs is too bloody much even if the space set might be useful. And added to the fact this year has been essentially one long event grind it's just getting too much.
The TFO is "ok"; it sure looks nice up above Mars so the art guys did a nice job. Music is cheesy but a nice touch. The mission itself is just spam overload though; WAY WAY too much going on and it just looks like a mess. Too many ships, too many waypoint markers, too much beam-spam, too many voiceover orders, too many player visuals.....it's just a rainbow jumble that gives you a headache.
4. What do you think of this Update over-all?
Ok I guess.
Be nice if we got some more in depth story for once beside just shooting things. And another Constitution class variant....... yawn. For years the endgame Connie was a no go; now there are more variants than you can shake a Jumja stick at. A bit silly if you ask me.

Yeah used one so far will probably drop one on all Legendary ships then decide after that whats next

Undecided at the mo ran once so far will run on an alt to see again felt a mess and underwhelming on 1st run

To early to decide overall but i had high hopes for the Year of the Klingon and thus far what they give has not been great imo.

1. I've upgraded my Vengeance, Khopesh, and Eternal class ships so far. It has mostly made me aware than I don't actually currently have a great 6th trait for my beam or sci builds though, so it is making me think I'm gonna have to shop for a few new ships from this freebie...which I'm sure is Cryptic's sinister scheme all along.
2. I thought it was ok. Kind of nice to see something on Nimbus III get a facelift, but I don't know that it was one of the stronger storylines I've seen, particularly given the plot twist that was the previous 2 episode releases. Apparently this was originally meant to be 1 of 2 episodes that were going to be released in this patch, but the second got pushed to the anniversary event release, so maybe that's why the story felt a bit thin?
3. I was underwhelmed by the TFO. The beamouts are way too long and the Synth opponents didn't feel all that threatening to me. I'm curious to see how the equipment set stacks up to existing meta though. Hopefully Cryptic floats an upgrade weekend to us after we finish this event.
4. Obviously lots of bugs. That aside, I feel like we got a little bit of a lot of different things with this update, but each of those little things seemed relatively small at the end of the day (though I haven't really had a chance to really see how much of a difference the token upgrades make to my builds). Would have been nice to see a little more depth, even if at the expense of one or two of the new things added.

1. Do you like the Experimental Upgrade feature? Which ship(s) did you put it on so far?
No, I don't see the point of the Experimental Upgrade, there's no content in the game that requires the need for this, I guess giving a free one was good, but I'm not going to buy any, except maybe with the stipend. I used my free one on the Fleet T6 Miranda of course.
2. What do you think of the new episode?
The new episode was pretty decent, voice acting was good, and it was nice to revisit part of Nimbus, posssibly one of the things I remember enjoying in STO. One interesting note is that the exotic dancers are armed, so you certainly wouldn't want to get very hands on with them. Overall though, I thought it was good, wasn't difficult, or a challenge. The problem is that it is attached to an event, which would make it become repetitive.
3. Are you happy with the new event?
Looks like you get plenty of gear from it, which for someone who doesn't put money into the game, and might be a bit behind on reputations, is a good idea. I can't comment on the stats because I don't know much about that thesedays, nor do I think it really matters for most people. The TFO however, takes too long, I like the concept of it, and it seems like it could be good, but it needs to be a bit shorter in my view, maybe not timed, but checkpointed. The idea of beaming people up, and moving them to a ship, then that ship activating is good concept to me, it's just not exciting.
4. What do you think of this Update over-all?
My favourite part was all the bugs, and emergency downtime, but on a serious note, there was an update?

I haven't really got into the new content but i did play the most recent episode"Partisans" the only reason I liked it was because of the new character, Wilkins. So funny. Especially when she says Ferengi lol
