    A event I think I will definitely skip, especially since I can get the other targ if I really want one. But knowing cryptic the lightsaber targ will do massive dps and the fire targ will probably do average

    The flame sword will come next year for us PC peeps... I will get the Nano Targ this event on the 12th... my KDF peeps could use a combat pet other than Hortas and Laser Dinos.

    Same....I mean if we're both gonna get the others rewards then why not just give us the same rewards? Just give us all the targ now and sword later or the other way around?

    For clarity, according to the blogs and unfortunately unblogged supplemental Twitter posts, the PC event will award a targ, there will be a second targ available from the c-store that will synergize with the event targ such that if you have both equipped, activating one will activate the other for a short time (giving you 2 combat pets). The console event will only award the sword at this time. HOWEVER, there will be a future event some time in 2021 where each platform can earn the opposite prize (sword for PC, targ for Console).

    It would be nice if Cryptic were a bit more well-rounded in their messaging approach without making people fish across social media for it....

    That sword reminds me of a WoW sword, but I can't recall the name of the WoW sword. Oh well, we'll see it in when January's thing happens.

    I did, gave one of my BOffs the laser dino when I picked up the Elachi walker for my main... the other BOffs have Hortas... slow as molasses...

    I don't get the point of this? Why give us different rewards? Why not just give use the same rewards? It's kinda silly

    Is it to make it look like they're more busy? Creating multiple rewards at once like it even compares to the complete lack of content we've gotten all year?

    Plus I know they were going to pull something to make them appeal to someone...having both pets spawn if you someone one...typical Cryptic

    I suspect it is just a move by Cryptic to let console be the first to get something new for once. A simple thing like a ground weapon is easy enough to make and gives the devs something to point to that is an exception to the rule that console always gets new swag weeks or months after PC gets to play with the new toys they introduce.
