Recently got the Yorktown Science Star Cruiser, however I have never tried a Science build before so I want to get it right. Would anyone mind setting up a build I could follow?

For a Yorktown you will probably want to do a beam build or maybe a torp boat. Without a commander-level seat for sci or a secondary deflector, a true exotic build isn't really viable but you might throw a GW1 on it to get a taste of what an exotic build might do for you. The Checkmate trait that comes on the Yorktown is decent if you do want to go heavier into science later. Unfortunately my last Yorktown build is badly outdated at this point so mine is probably not the best example to share.
