    Federation News Service - FNS Executive Officer
    CL5 - Tier 4 (Captain)

    The position of Executive Officer for the Federation News Service has come up. The person will be able to assist in the day to day running of the FNS, they will be required to take on editor duties as well, and if they so wish, to write articles, although this part is not mandatory. The chosen candidate will be able to encourage staff writers to submit articles, and help plan a direction for articles.

    JOB DUTIES
    • Managing other staff, such as writers and editors.
    • Coordinate the direction of the news service with the CO.
    • Ensure standards are kept with editing articles.
    • Able to put forward new ideas.
    • The successful candidate of this role would report to Three of Seven


    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    • Exams: Orientation Assessment & Officer Qualification Exam
    • Previous CL4 experience is ideal, but not essential.
    • Good grasp of the English language.
    • Is it a CL5 position? Yes
      PLEASE NOTE: If it is a CL5 position, the successful candidate will have to sign the Command Position Agreement before entering the role.
