Strengths & Weaknesses: Ensign Winter is disciplined due to his military drill and very good at learning and adapting new things. On the other hand he sometimes becomes a bit "unpatient" if something does not work as intended or the way he wants it to work.

Ambitions: His goal is to become a good Starfleet officer serving his captain, his ship and its crew well. He also wants to learn about new tactics and security protocols as well as improve them.

History
Personal History:
Charles "Chuck" Winter grew up in Santa Monica, CA. He has always been interested in weapons and joined his father on a hunting trip for the first time when he was six years old. After he had finished school Charles began studying civil engineering at the University of California (UCLA), stopped it after a year, though. Instead he decided to join the Starfleet Marine Corps (SFMC) where he became an expert in close combat, weapons and explosives. His superiors described Mr Winter as an examplous soldier and Marine.

In 2377, after his time in the Corps had ended and Charles's decision not to stay longer, he applied at Starfleet Academy in order to study security and tactical operations. His goal was to become a Starfleet officer serving on a starship exploring the galaxy and defending the values of the Federation. He was accepted, graduated in 2381 and became an Ensign.
