EC Henry is working on T6 Steamrunner, it'll probably be released closer to the end of the year.

There's a T1 Steamrunner which was a bonus item for preorders of STO I think, so it's hardly ever seen.

And there is also a T5 bundle which includes two visual variants of the ship with slightly different impulse engines.

The T5 is not a bad ship, but it's clearly outclassed by just about every other escort out there that's been released since.

The Steamrunner was originally exclusive to the Steam Starter Bundle, coming with the starter and endgame versions of the ship. It was quite rare to see one of them flying about and with it not having a T6 version, it's even rarer to see one nowadays. In the face of the stiff competition these days, not least from the likes of the regular T6 and Legendary Defiant, they'll need to make it something special to get it flying again.

Fun fact. The class was originally meant to be called Streamrunner, but the R got lost in a typo somewhere, it stuck and it became Steamrunner.

The Akira has a skin that resembles a Steamrunner, but like everyone has said there isn't a official T6.

I think I kinda like that T6 look...wonder what the boff seating will be...

If I had to guess what the T6 Steamrunner has, probably go with Command or Miracle Worker. Considering they will probably want it to be torpedo heavy, probably Command. Maybe Miracle Worker if they want to make things interesting.
