    Upon creating this storyline, Bondgadget and myself decided to go with a TNG Theme. To clarify even further, we really wanted to concentrate more on the diplomatic and exploration side of Starfleet; however, that said there will be twists to the storyline, which you will not see coming. Here are some example TNG trailers, which reflect the style we're going for:

    --> TNG: Lonely Among Us.

    --> TNG: Who Watches the Watchers.

    --> TNG: The Defector.

    No, I believe that SRP took place on Earth, and was based off of Starfleet's political structure. This is like any normal ship-based SRP, except it takes inspiration from TNG. I would like to think that it is original in its own special way. Wink

    Looks like an awesome idea with a great premise. The trailers were helpful in giving me an look at what the flow of the SRP was going to be Smile

    I definately think that is the right way to go with it. The premise of Star Trek is about exploring the unknown and in doing so better understanding ourselves and learning to grow and develop. Most SRPs throw this completely out of the window and in doing so butcher the Star Trek experience which I think is what we are all actually here for.
