Greetings everyone,
I would like to introduce myself and allow you all to know me a little better before we actually meet ingame or on TS.
I am 31 years old and an office clerk for a phone company in Canada. I have lived in Quebec City for more than ten years now and I enjoy it. I studied teaching and linguistics in Laval University here too. I have no career plans at the moment in these fields, I enjoy my little routine until I find a research subject that will define my future professional interests.
I like science-fiction. I have played many MMOs and MUDs before that too. STO was then a natural choice for entertainment since I like most of Roddenberry's creations, especially Star Trek's universe. I played 10 weeks at game release but time was lacking afterwards and I had to stop playing. I was hoping to come back when time would allow it. Here I am! 
I have not looked into the other games supported by the fleet yet, but I will.
I consider myself a casual player right now, but I play a lot from time to time. I have some time to kill after Christmas, so chances are will you see me around a lot more than a casual player. I enjoy both PvE and PvP, but I have a completionist tendancy which leads me to priorize PvE when there is content left to be explored or seen.
I hope to help UFP with the Academy and the Diplomatic Corps in the future. For now I am discovering the forums and meeting the members. So far, I really like the attitude and energy of this community and I thank you for making me part of it.

Seriously, thanks for taking the time to let us know more about you. It's nice to see people more my age playing as well. I am 32, well 33 in a few weeks anyway.
Glad you have decided to join the UFP. I, like you am also a newer member and am really enjoying what this community has to offer.
