Ok, my pet project AND working with Josh and the other Sim Officers, has launched. Yay!

Just for full clarification, with our ships we need to do 3 updates of us doing our own thing I presume? And occasionally we all team up in one mission?

When can we start doing updates and where do we put them?

We'll put things in the Mission Logs area under this subforum. I suppose folks could go right in and start their own ship logs. Those wouldn't need any special formatting per se, just some logs/posts of various crew and other interactions.

Also, if a couple ships wanted to pair up and run some adhoc mission together, that would be fun to see. I'd follow mission template in here, at least for the first post.

I am getting ready to post the first Mission Pack, which will be a more focused way for all of us to work together, partnering with the Ares as well.

Might it be a good idea to create a template for operational logs? so there is consistency when looking at our logs? 🙂

I did have one thought though, would be good to have others thoughts too, shall the log post tittle be the ship name for multi-ship missions and could it be a title for the “mission” or content of the log for our personal operational logs?

I only ask this as I thought that the ship name would be ideal for multi ship but as the operational logs are specific to our ship anyway, we might not need to put our ship names in?

Can’t wait to get properly stuck in! Have another update lined up for later on 😃

This is a good point, too, Adster. I'll mention it in the template so that you can either have the Ship or the Topic of the log entry. Having the ship name each Ops Log could get redundant. Although if the ship is at DS9, they might post their log from there instead. TFP is fairly free-form, other than the few templates and mission processes.
