    Apparently, the update was because at some point in the game we will see a mirror version of it and they decided that the original was due to upscaling

    I've read somewhere that the reason that model didn't get developed or pushed into the foreground more was because it had a very nasty and visible join between the saucer and raider hull that the model maker wasn't able to fix properly.

    It's a pretty good update....but still wish they'd work more on older ships, I'm guessing this is to resell it at some point. Since almost all the 32nd century Discovery ships have been made they're gonna need something else and I'm guessing mirror ships

    I still have the theory that the 4 mirror ships they updated a while back could be for the 2022 legendary pack

    Despite the fact that it's the closest match to the original Odyssey skin, I'm not a fan of the Yorktown variant. With a bit of luck though, the new darker hull texture can be used on all variants, we'll see.
