    I think 50% in this case is the psychological barrier at which people would think yes, maybe it's worth a buy. Having at 35% is at the point were a prospective buyer would still think twice.

    Legendary stuff will always be out of my price range; there is just no way on Earth I can justify blowing that much money on some pixels. The price of these things even when on sale is utterly insane.

    Only way I'll ever fly a legendary ship is if they add them as a choice to the 4th run of the year long event like they did with the promo ships this year.

    Now THAT is an excellent idea! Next year, complete the whole multipart event and you get to pick a Legendary ship. They could run that for YEARS.

    Even at say 2 ships for doing it, they have enough Legendarys now for it to last about 7 years, maybe 8

    At this point, there are only 2 ships that I'd like to own and I'm not inclined to pay for either of them - the Legendary Ambassador and the 32nd Century Constitution - so I'll only get my hands on them if they do another promo pick event, at least so far as the Connie goes.

    My only legendary purchase was the Klingon captain bundle, bought at 50% discount when introduced. At this cost I could consider same kind of packs; a ship with some extras included. Nothing more, nothing else.
