    Cryptic has said they want to make these recruit events more available to players, so they made a big push to update and reintroduce these events over the last year or so for players that missed out on the original runs. Now that all the existing recruit events have gone through the update process, they are probably just cycling through them all again for players that missed out last year and it will probably become an annual thing. As long as you already have a recruit for the event type, you should be fine, and they likely will make any new additions retroactive to existing recruits like before so you don't have to grind everything out again from scratch if they decide to add anything extra. On the other hand, if you have been thinking about rolling a new character anyway, rolling it to take advantage of one of these recruiting events can give a lot of perks in terms of dilithium, gear, and whatnot over the same toon created outside of the event.

    At the mo, it doesn't look like its offering anything new so this is just the rerun that they said would happen more often for them who may have missed it the first time around

    If that's true, I'll probably roll a few of them. Not to play or finish them, but just for the heaps of dil ore you get. The gamma and temporal recruits were quite good for this. Would have made more of them had I known that.

    Worth it you get a free T6 ship on the recruit and if you have not already once you get it to 65 unlocks the option to fly any cross faction ship without paying the zen for the unlock cost

    And while its not the best ship in-game its not as bad as some make it out and best of all it's free
