With the help of Tallinn, Picard and the crew infiltrate a gala on the eve of a joint space mission, to protect one of the astronauts they believe to be integral to the restoration of the timeline – Renee Picard. Kore makes a startling discovery about her father’s work.

I miss the space element for the series and have seen it being called "Los Angeles Trek". I like a lot of the storytelling and Patrick Stewart is amazing, but I'm more looking forward to the return of exploring strange new worlds that's coming after Picard is over.

Given that we might see more of Starfleet in the final season, a few bits of info from the episode Picard was reading the ship details from but they couldn't be seen clearly on screen, as taken from memory alpha;
The original USS Excelsior was decommissioned in 2320.
The crashed saucer of the Enterprise-D was recovered and moved to the Fleet museum.
USS Voyager was decommissioned in 2378 shortly after it returned to Earth.
