I finally broke down and got the lifetime, I figure $150 will be the lowest price I may ever see. The automatic 8.000 Dilithium Refinement every 24 hours is this in addition to the 8k that can be manually refined (16k per day)? I just bought the lifetime two days ago and I am still manually refining the dilithium. What time of day does the dilithium get refined? Also, do I need unrefined Dilithium available for it to work? I have seen returning lifetime players stating that they had a whole lot of refined dilithium when they came back. I guy said he had over 2 million.

The daily DO mission for refining 1k dilithium what time is that available? It's not on the 20hr timer.

Let me try to answer some of our questions:

1. it is 8000 per toon / day, and not 8000 automatically and additionally 8000 manually
2. if you haven’t refined manually on one day you will see a pop up massage on log in (hard to spot) that dilithium was refined automatically
3. the automatically and manually refinement share the same cooldown, should be 20 hours
4. you need unrefined dilithium on stock for the auto refinery
5. DO mission might be 24 hours cooldown

If memory serves, there is a 7 day cap on the auto-refine feature. So basically, the server essentially will click the refine button for you for those days you failed to log in and do it yourself. It can be helpful if you don't log into every character, every day, but otherwise it is an easily forgotten feature if you are a daily player.

That said, LTS also unlocks the use of the "Veteran Dilithium Refiner" NPCs at Starfleet Academy and the Klingon Academy. Talking to the NPC will give you a DOFF mission option to refine an additional 1000 dilithium ore every other day. If you use that and use the "Mining Foreman" NPC at the fleet dilithium mine holding that gives you a similar DOFF mission that lets you refine 500 every day. Between the 2, you can nudge your daily refining limit from 8000 to 9000. A 12.5% boost isn't a ton extra, but it is an option. The downside is that in order to make the most of it, you need to run each character back and forth between the 2 locations in 2 different quadrants, which takes time and several loading screens for each toon you want to boost. It is probably worth it if you are trying to build up some extra refined dilithium on one or two toons, but if you have a small army of alts you are wanting to accelerate, be prepared to get to know that loading screen pretty well.
