That Galaxy Class is a beast, the traits and consoles are more meh, but again it sucks that it is LB.

The new phaser visual sort of resembles the pulse phasers, but they look more solid when firing. It was actually asked if it was just a recolour but one of the devs said it's not, they're their own thing however they didn't show the sound effect. Those are mainly where my interest is, I normally favour Agony phasers for the TNG era ships and the Disco ones for the "older" era.

The World Razer also has a phaser lance that works a bit differently to the ones we've seen before, this version has a sustained fire rather than the direct blast we're used to and it also locks onto and tracks the target ship instead of just punching forwards.

Compared to the other Galaxy class variants, this one seems to pack some major firepower as Bridger says. Is it a nice ship? Certainly is, but is it enough for me to trade in my Inquiry? Nope.

Thats a Frankenstein Galaxy Class if ever I saw one. And I very much want one now, though I bet its going to cost in excess of 1.5b credits to buy in game.

The good thing is that you can use the normal Galaxy Class parts on it.

I picked up the ship, and even only at Cmdr rank so far, lots of fun. Love the visuals of the new phasers as well. I put the Sovereign skin on it and changed the nacelles for the Terran Galaxy variant. Playing as the I.S.S. World Razer.

They are, same sound ish, better beam visual but still pulses. I like

Performance-wise, they reportedly aren't anything special. The proc may be listed as 5% instead of 2.5% like a lot of other weapons, but the proc supposedly only works on a single shot, not the full firing cycle of the weapon like most 2.5% procs, so it isn't changing up phaser meta by any means as is. As far as the FX side of things, they kind of phoned it in on that end too. Basically, if you like the space barbie aspects of them, go for it since procs are generally not worth worrying about from a build perspective. Otherwise, if you are looking to min-max for DPS, there are slightly better phaser options available.

I've tried them out and while a fun little distraction, I'd honestly prefer to stick with the Agony phasers myself to keep the TNG era weapon aesthetic. Problem with them (and all weapons I guess) are the omni-directional beams, they're quite expensive so I'm back to saving up a bit to get another one.

Did you ever try the Phasers from the Undiscovered lock box? Very similar, but more phaser like in color.

Loving it so far, esp the way it can be customised with Galaxy parts. Slight issue with some of the Necks on the new World Razer hull, but not a major problem or even noticeable from behind.

My favourite scsi-fi ship if all time is the Galaxy Class, so a new one was always going onto my shopping list
