    For those who are not aware, Queensland (a state in Australia) has faced drastic floods, covering more than 75% of the state (bigger than England), and 13 people have lost their lives, with more than 90 people missing.

    Please pay your respects to the poor people in Queensland.

    The Premier of Queensland has stated that it will take at least three years of hard work to restore Brisbane (The Capital of Queensland) and the rest of the affected areas.

    I've been following this quite closely on the news, has made prime news story in the UK since it started. Very sad indeed, I hope the flood waters subside quickly so people can start rebuilding their homes and lives.

    I been watching this on the news and can only imagine how bad it is, to think in the UK we have been complaining about a little snow, I hope it gets better soon and people can start to recover from this disaster.

    My thoughts go out to thoughs who have been effected by this radical show of nature at its worst. Hopefully Australia will be able to recover.

    Australia has had some really bad times with the flash fires and the floods, my heart goes out to all the people that are affected, I can only imagine how they must feel. I have family in Perth and im glad they havent been effected by all this. Again my heart goes out to all those effected.
