Caught by Starfleet and facing court martial, paranoia grows as Picard struggles to uncover whether a prodigal crewman from his past has returned as an ally – or an enemy hellbent on destroying them all.

This series just keeps getting better and better.

I just wish we had more than one season of this Picard.

I've only seen a clip of the episode so far, but I have to say that despite the rather odd design of the Intrepid (and the class name which is a bit of a mouthful) it looked brilliant in the flesh.

I am curious about the front and aft Deflector, it also means the Intrepid Class USS Intrepid NCC-74600 was either decomissioned or destroyed until this episode.

Amazing episode, Shaw is slowly becoming a fave, the chicken and the egg dialogue was so good, didn't see the returning character and what an epic return.

Apparently the back deflector is some kind of sensor array

They seem to be doing weird things with the registry numbers too. The 74600 was part of the Task Force that was to meet the Enterprise in Nemesis and we know the Titan was launched at that time too, but as its in the 80000 range, it would imply this Intrepid was launched at roughly the same time and the class is nearly 25 years old.

Seems unlikely they'd have 2 with the same name in service and the time frame doesn't make sense for it to be a replacement either as that would have it out of service in less than a decade. The number tracking just seems to have been forgot about much like it was in TOS.

It could be that the ship was renamed like the Yorktown to Enterprise or Sao Paulo to Defiant but did not kept her original reg number.

Every week i have been loving Todd Stashwick's performance as shaw. I know there already have been people trying to push Paramount/CBS for a spinoff show with Shaw and Seven and the Titan's crew. Similar in a way with the petitions for the Strange New World happened after Anson Mount's performance of Pike during Discovery season 2.

I'm also grateful that we got to see a resolution with Ro, as heartbreaking as it was. i cannot wait to see the remaining episodes!

Since the first announcement of Trek's return with Discovery, this is the Star Trek I have been waiting for. Incredible from beginning to end.

Overall loving this week's episode and the season. The surprise appearance of Ro was well done and made integral to the overall plot, not just a token easter egg. Worf and Raffi's pairing still feels fun and it looks like they might be on the verge of folding into the Titan group soon. Finally, I'm really curious to see where they are heading with Jack Crusher's character given the superhuman stuff he pulled this week. It was reminiscent of Isa Briones characters from season 1, so wondering if Lore and/or the Borg might loop into play there since there seems to be a lot of nostalgia Trek sprinkled everywhere.

I also loved that they addressed how the changelings die now and that might also explain why they look different in liquid form.

I wonder if their evolution has something to do with the S31 disease or how they were cured?

Really great episode.

Nice to see Ro back and to get some finality to a plot left open ask those years ago. Michelle can knock things out of the park with her acting and it really got across the emotion that both characters felt about events.

The Intrepid is a nice new ship design but not overly silly like some ships we’ve seen in a few other shows.
Even with one nacelle on fire it looked menacing and you realise that the Titan really is just a simple science vessel not built for combat with bigger ships.

I’m thoroughly enjoying the Worf & Raffi show; I want more of their spy adventures please!!!

Jack’s story has me properly intrigued though. I have no idea where it’s going as Picard/Beverly etc never had a run in with Changelings before that I’m aware of so no idea why their son would be so important to them.
I wonder if the thing stolen from Daystrom was something to do with detecting Changelings/Jack’s background and that’s why it was taken? Is Jack some sort of living Changeling-detector?
