Hello!
Taking a moment to introduce myself to everyone. I'm Stephen, AKA Jinxsee or Jynxsee online pretty much everywhere. Kudos to anyone to happens to know the reference to my gamertag. :-) Been into Sci-Fi since the early 80's, kicked off by seeing Start Trek II. And have been interested in pretty much anything Sci-Fi related since. Star Trek, Doctor Who, B5, Star Wars, etc Love it all. Also have been a gamer since I first got a PC back in the mid 80's (8088, woo!). I play a little bit of everything, my favorite games are the Mass Effect series, Elder Scrolls series & Fallout series. The Elder Scrolls I first played when TES - Arena was originally released...a long time ago.
I'm into a little bit of everything it seems like, which I blame my ADHD for. PC Building, 3D printing, Car nut, Car detailing nut, Anime and Music is life (and I pretty much like everything..except country). And always happy to talk about any of those things.
Professionally I'm 25 years in Network Security, but I got out of the field 8 years ago and into being in the technical part of sales. Nowadays I'm a Solution Architect and mostly write technical material to present to providers of services to help them become effective sellers and users of the products my company sells.
Personally, I live in Austin, TX....at least for now. Moving back 'home' to MI in about 6 months or so after I see my kid off to college this fall.
Found the UFP when I was looking for a Fleet to join up with, I just started playing ST:O a few weeks back and I can tell it's going to be a long obsession. Happy to be here and looking forward to getting to know everyone better!

I saw that you got interested in Trek during the 80's, then I read that you were 25 years old and my brain experienced blue screen of death until I went back and read it correctly lol.

I'm the CISO for my company and I always appreciate sharp network security guys, more than most people can imagine.
Yeah, I was getting bored after so many years of essentially doing the same things over and over. So I figured...I'll try a SE role. Doesn't hurt that I've almost tripled my salary in the past few years as well.
