I've been out of the loop since 2017 and trying to get back into things. Here lately i've been seeing some stuff and have no idea what it is and how to acquire it.

far as space stuff, a big flaming tornado.
some purple funnels
a blue vortex hole looking thing.
I'm sure there is stuff that's not so obvious.

as far as ground, i've seen these huge pillar things i have no idea what they do.
some blue crystal things

and should i buy out the last 2 events? anything there worth getting that could help with build ideas?

Space Items:

Flaming tornado in space: Universal Console: Plasma Storm Module, available from the Maquis Raider in the Lobi Store (as a character ship unlock), and it has been/ may currently be in a pack in the Mudd's Store in the C-Store (as an account-wide ship unlock)

Purple funnels in space: Universal Console: Neutronic Eddy Generator, available from the Risian Weather Control Vessel, once a Summer Event Reward Ship (as an account-wide ship unlock), it is now only available from the Mudd's Store, in the C-Store (as an account-wide ship unlock)

Blue Vortex in space: could be a couple of things, but probably Universal Console: Temporal Vortex Probe, was the reward for the 2020 First Contact Day Event (as an account-wide unlock), current availability unknown, probably future Phoenix Store Item

Ground Items:

Pillars on ground: probably the Kit Module: V'ger Probes, available as an event reward near the end of 2022 (as an account-wide unlock)

Blue Crystals on ground: Kit Module: Crystal Prism, once available as the reward for the inaugural run of the Featured TFO, Pahvo Dissension, in early 2019 (as an account-wide unlock), but now only available from the Mudd's Store, in the C-Store, as part of the Crystal Barrier of Death Pack
