My new Picard FX Reshade pre set, and question.

Greetings all.

Feels like ages since my last post on here but just thought I'd say hello and to share my latest Reshade pre set for STO for
Those interested, and is available on Nexus mods.

Also, I've had a promo box saved for a while now and got the new Constituition III MW cruiser. I cant decide to go FAW or ERL with it? What's the best these days for MW? I usually like tanking and ideally wanted this to be a command spec ship, so not too up to date with MW clikies/abilitys.

Oh, also to note, just crafted two of the new eng consoles at epic with phaser mods and yet to test these also. I saw CasualSAB's stream yesturday and noticed Bridger was mentioned a few times and wasnt sure if it was our Bridger or not haha.

I was just looking at this earlier today, didn't realize that was you! great work!

Can't wait to try it out, though for the life of me I can't find any up to date install instructions for STO to use Reshade. and probably get a new monitor first because backlight is dying lol =(

Also, doesn't the latest reshade installer give you the options to download specific shaders. Would be really be necessary to install an old version first when this is an option? (at least that's what it did when I installed for FFXIV)

Not going to lie but the Ponie is a bad ship, if you want to tank your only option is FAW with ETM when it comes to the new consoles I am hesitating to give any recommendations because we are probably seeing some adjustments and to be honest we are still doing the math on them.

Hey! Yeah the latest installer gives you options to choose what shaders to use. I've included a thorough read me with the download along with my current shaders folder so should have everything needed to use the pre set.

Got ya! Well I did try tanking with her, but I'm probably better off making a haste build with her. Will try out a couple of builds over the weekend.

Ohh you are the creator of the Picard FX! So you are also the creator of the TNG FX and TOS FX, wow. I tried them all out some time ago, and they were all pretty good. Nice job by the way.

You've opened up a whole new world of STO to me.

Love the Mod and the Neo-Connie looks screen accurate thanks to this. Even down to the shade of the Torpedoes.

Reshade with add on installer. Its mentions that its for single player games only, but Its ok to use with STO as everything is all client side and does not affect in game files.

I do have a question about screenshots.

I'm wanting to capture some with the filters. But using the standard command takes the screenshot without applying the filter and using NVIDIA's software makes it a .jxr file. When I save it as a .jpeg or .jpg file I lose quality.

So how do you take your screenshots?
