Hi everyone,
I am Curtis (RL Joeri), I just got accepted this morning and wanted to do a little jntroduction. I am from the Netherlands and am an avid SciFi and above all Star Trek Fan.
I have been on STO off and on and have attained Fleet Admiral, but remain rather uninformed about how everything works. I think the system is rather complex and opens up even more when attaining the highest level.
Love to see this community is thriving and hoping to be a part of that community more and more as time goes by.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone.

Thanks for the intro! I always enjoy learning a few things about those who find their way here. Yes, the game can be complicated for some (like me) at times... but the great thing about this fleet is we have players from a very wide variety of skil levels and abilities. My suggestion is to just be who you are and play the way that makes you happy. In doing so, you'll likely find others who play the same way as you. That said, do not hesitate to ask questions if you need a nudge in the right direction. We're always glad to give a little advice or lend a hand.

welcome to the fleet. people often discuss builds and share thoughts on the game so feel free to ask around for build advice. Some people are dps chasers, others are just trying to get the most out of their ships they like. I recently hit 200k dps in my tellarite command assault ship which i think is about as far as i can push it, but no one else flies one so it's my favorite. But whatever you want to fly or get into, everyone here will pitch in and help. Summer event going to happen soon so maybe we will see you on Risa!

I have a few days off at the end of this week, so i will probably get on and see if anyone is around. I can tell you are all very passionate about STO. That is nice to see.
I def. Need to read up on what every type of weapon does for example, the Phaser, Polaron, etc.
