I'm wondering if you used the symbiotic ice trait which applies cold damage would that count as a trigger for the trait, as it seems like an easy way to keep it ticking over if it did.

Interesting question. Other than endothermic inhibitor beam, let it go and very cold in space, are there any other sources of cold damage?

Of the 2 ship reveals, this one is way more interesting. Quirky ren faire stuff aside, the trait and stuff sound pretty solid, and the color palette being wide open at the tailor like the Risian ships is a plus too. Seems like this one will be worth the grind, and just hope I don't miss too many days with me and the family traveling next month.

Would have been nice if we got a Commander level intel seat, but we got the Intel ship mechanic which is a nice change for an event ship. It kind of makes me wonder if Johnathan was subtly throwing shade at Borticus and tossing some of his apparently arbitrary rules out the door. Admittedly most of the post-Borticus changes have seemed generally positive, so I'm quite ok with the change.

Finally we get something new to put onto our space magic builds!!! 4 out of the 5 Magicks are used on space magic builds and 2 out of the 5 are used a lot on those builds, electrical (Spore-Infused Anomalies), and radiation (Secdef, Genesis Seed, etc). The console clickie also seems good for even more space magic spam and appears to do good numbers, and the innate cooldown reduction for the ability based on engine power is the cherry on top!

I'm definitely going to be putting that console onto my EPG Compiler! Not sure about the trait though, while the cat2 numbers are good, with only 6 starship trait slots, it'll be extremely hard for me to remove something else for this trait.

I have the same problem. I'll be AFK for a week in mid-July and hope I can still earn enough credits.
