    All the UFP Fleets share a chat channel, so teaming up isn't really hampered by individual fleet size.

    That said, the organized group activities happen mostly on the weekend.

    The advantage of our fleet's own chat channel instead of the generic fleet and armada channels is that it crosses Fed/KDF lines as well as cross-fleet, so you can usually connect to any other online members that way regardless of which fleet you play from at any given time.

    As far as "which fleet", usually people gravitate towards the most developed fleets (up to the per fleet limits stated on the invite form) for their most active characters to ease access to fleet holding shops. Even for your toons in lower, less developed fleets, there is usually others around who can invite you to higher fleet holdings, so even this isn't much of a concern at the end of the day.
