Remember to log in with your main character before you create your Season Character, to have your progress carry over!

There's a lot of backlash over this patch, I think everyone's getting tired of nerf after nerf but I've not gone through the notes myself yet.

I'm annoyed there's still no hide option for back weapons because I don't use a bow/crossbow at all on my rogue, it's just a stat stick. I'd like to not see it especially since it clips anything on my back (trophy, capes, etc)

Oh yes, reddit is on fire today. We have a D4 teams channel at work where we distributed memes all day.

Blizzard didn't just nerf stuff, that would have been too easy. They basically nerfed everything: loot, Helltides, exp, power leveling, all defenses across the board, they increased base damage of all classes but slashed damage affixes by up to 60% on top of increasing mob health. It's absolutely brutal.

I wondered why, when I logged in after the patch, I'd got more rewards to claim from the map. Renown rewards have been increased; Side Quests from 20 to 30, and Dungeons from 30 to 40.

Some major XP gain changes Griffin highlighted to me last night. For killing higher level enemies, the XP has changed:

We are adjusting bonus experience rewards for killing monsters that are a higher Level than the player.
Pre-Season of the Malignant bonuses:
1 Level higher: +15%.
2 Levels higher: +20%.
3+ Levels higher: +25%.

Post-Season of the Malignant:
1.5% bonus per Level up to 10 Levels.
Ex:
+1 level: +1.5%.
+2 levels: +3%.
+10 levels: +15%.

We are also adjusting experience rewards for monster Level offsets for higher World Tiers.
Current World Tier Level offsets
World Tier II: Up to +3.
World Tier III: Up to +10.
World Tier IV: Up to +100.

We are changing this to:
World Tier II: Up to +3 (Unchanged).
World Tier III: Up to +6.
World Tier IV: Up to +10.

For Example:
You are Level 1. Your friends bring you to World Tier IV and leave you at the entrance of a dungeon. They start killing Level 100 monsters.
Prior to Season of the Malignant, you get:
(Level 100 Monster XP) * (1 + 25%)
After Season of the Malignant, you get:
(Level 11 Monster XP) * (1 + 15%)
