I was going to see this one but then someone pointed out that the director had done something pretty controversial.

This topic could be disconcerting for some, more than others so I'll place it inside the spoiler tag.

A scene in the film is a real recording of the devestating Beirut explosion in 2020. Simply redressed with a few more futuristic buildings.

There's debates all over whether or not this move on its production is just bad taste, clever or downright insulting.

Personally, I dislike the idea given that many people lost their lives their livelihoods and loved ones in that terrible explosion.

I'm not one for boycotting or promoting the idea of harming a films revenue given how many lives in the production are effected but I just felt compelled to let others know so they can make their own decisions about it.

I'm passing on this one, just can't resolve the decision to dressup such a bad thing for revenue.
