While I am deeply honoured by the choice of the honoured members of Starfleet Command to offer me this commission and command of the USS Nakamura, I must decline. Currently, I serve aboard the USS Fearless, as the honoured Admirals know, and I believe that this crew and Captain need me more than that of the USS Nakamura.
