    It is now possible to link Epic Games and Arc accounts again. Simply install STO from the Epic Games store (you can overwrite an existing install with no issues) and launch from the Epic Games launcher. The STO launcher should pop up with an option to keep logging in with Epic, or to link an existing Arc account. If you choose the latter and sign in with your Arc Credentials, it should link right up. I was able to claim the above giveaway with no issues from the promotions tab. Happy gaming!

    Clearly Cryptic didn't come away with the most profitable agreement with Epic Games. Normally anything to do with players spending money is a "drop everything else" emergency fix situation, but this account linking previously only worked for a few weeks several years ago. It sounds like players are just randomly stumbling across this working again rather than Cryptic broadcasting it. I only heard of it because of a random Reddit post yesterday followed up by a video by MCStu talking about how to link. Video linked below for reference if anyone is interested in a more thorough instruction on the linking process.

    Saw Spencer mentioning that it appears the ARC/Epic account linking has been disabled again, so it looks like this may have been an oversight and they never intended to allow it again in the first place.
