The Legendary Battlecruiser Bundle has arrived on PC! This two-ship Legendary Bundle brings new versions of the Avenger and Bortasqu', giving the Legendary treatment to one of Starfleet's most well armed vessels, and the Klingon flagship herself. Purchasing the bundle unlocks both of these ships for your entire account, with a brand new look for each. The Avenger gains the Inquiry Class, as seen in Season 3 of Starship: Picard. And the Bortasqu' gains the livery that identifies it as Kronos One, the Chancellor's own flagship. But that's not all, in addition, the bundle will grant you the following:

1 T6 Ship Coupon - 3 Experimental Ship Upgrade Tokens (T6-X)

Automatically granted to the character who buys this product. These rewards are only granted once per account.

2 Ship Slots

Automatically granted to the character who buys this product. These rewards are only granted once per account.

2 Ultimate Tech Upgrades

The fluff with the pack is really scraping the bottom of the barrel this time. In fact we're through it and clawing into the ground it was sitting on.

I really like the new Inquiry skin but as I said in the other thread, I'm massively displeased at it being locked behind the bundle even for the existing owners.

Wow, they really threw the Promo Inquiry under the bus LOL. I can’t think of a reason now to pick up the Promo Inquiry if you can get the Legendary Avenger/Inquiry account-wide. The boff seating is almost identical and everything else, the Hull, Turn, Inertia, and Power distribution is better on the Legendary version. The only things that are worse on the Legendary is it has lower shields, and that it has one less Eng console than the Promo version for Isomags.

As the first post-T6-X2 bundle, looks like they aren't going to give us a freebie path to X2s. The other freebies are getting more "meh" all the time, almost to the point where you have to wonder if they are going to have to dedicate dev time to more filler fluff item production.

The ships themselves look pretty good though. Mechanically, the Leggy Inquiry is pretty close to the Promo version to the point that any DPS potential differences are going to be really small, and the Leggy Bortasqu' seems like a solid improvement over the older T6 KDF flagship models pretty much across the board. Also sounds like they are testing out some interesting new innate weapon mods on these, so that could be an interesting sign of stuff to come.

Probably will wait for a bit myself to let the math gurus out there evaluate stuff first and for Cryptic to offer the inevitable better sale price with the holiday season inching ever closer, but this feels like a solid "maybe" to add to my shopping list.

IMO the Klingons got pooched, not only is the Inquiry significantly better in every way except for boff seating...many people including myself wanted a Bort dreadnought since both Fed and Rom flagships are dreadnoughts

Feels like this was made just to flip the bird to KDF players and shut up the requests for a legendary Bort

They give the ship a special quad cannon then only give it .5 more turn rate compared to the Inquiry getting a whole 4 more turn...they gave it a extra tac console while the Bort lost one from compared to the tac version

Just watched Spencer's video. Now I need to rethink just about every build on my account since the flagship consoles are completely unbound now. So much for waiting for a better sale to come along to worry about theorycrafting again.
