As part of my role as SCE officer, and my duty to report as FNN CO, I'm posting any updates I get about video drivers in these "(tech support) forums!
270.61 WHQL Drivers Jam-Packed With Improvements
The first release in the 270 range of NVIDIA drivers includes performance improvements of up to 19% in SLI systems and 13% in single-card systems, and improvements of up to 367% in 3D Vision Surround games.
We’ve also included new SLI and 3D Vision profiles, numerous bug fixes and tweaks, have integrated the 3D Vision driver with the GPU driver, meaning only one download is now required, and have launched the NVIDIA Update application, a discrete tool that immediately notifies you of new driver releases and allows you to download said drivers direct to your desktop.

Latest ATI driver is 10.12 from the 13th December 2010.
According to the official forums the next major release is scheduled for January 2011.

Get em at www.guru3d.com.. (on a sidenote.. i tried these and they work perfect only thing is that they don't recognize SLI setups, so i reverted to the 290.53 :/)
They do include new PHYSX drivers (9.11.1111)
